KMM #4: How to Lift Your Mood!

Hey Hey! I’m Kacie May. Today we’re talking about mood lifters.

Are you feeling crummy?
Do you feel listless?
Do you poop out at parties?
Hopefully not :/
But guess what?!
Find something that puts you in a great mood!
We can change our mood?
OH yes we can!
We are in control of our emotions.
You want to feel great as often as possible because when you feel great you attract great things.
Like attracts like.

One mood lifter I LOVE is music.
I dare you. Find that one song, that one jam that makes you feel like JAMMIN!
And I dare you: don’t even dance. Don’t move a muscle. Just sit there. Don’t even smile.
Just sit there like this (straight face).
Do it right NOW!

(You’re trying to keep a straight face, then BAM! You perk up!)
We! Are! Fa-mi-ly! I got all my sisters and me! We! Are! Fa-mi-ly! Get up everybody and SING!
We! Are! Fa-mi-ly!

You’re WELCOME! ;)

KMM #3: My Awakening

Hi everyone! I'm Kacie May.

Watch me speak.

It was 2011. I was living in L.A. pursuing fashion styling and a business venture.
I felt lost and helpless as I was struggling to find my niche, support myself, as well as make genuine friends. I also missed my family who lives all over California. I wasn't taking very good care of myself.

I started getting symptoms like the flu and asthma, and I didn’t know what was going on.  I took herbs from my Dad who's an Herbalist, and they helped at first but then stopped working and my symptoms got worse. Then I lost my appetite and started losing weight, and lost energy and strength.

I drove out to my Dad's house in Rancho Cucamonga to work on my car, and I was so physically weak I couldn't turn the crank to lift the tire. He put me to bed and wouldn't let me go back to my apartment in LA. Then he called my Mom, an RN a few days later and requested her help.

One of my brothers picked me up and drove me to my Mom's house in the Sacramento area, and it was Thanksgiving. And by the way I had nothing but the clothes on my back and my purse with me. I slept during a lot of the drive, as well as through Thanksgiving. Then I got an x-ray and found out my left lung was collapsed and that I had millimeters of trachea space left to breathe. I was near dying. I was scared, but I knew I wasn't going to die then. I knew because I believed I was in the right hands, some of those being my Mom’s.

I chose to put my life in other people's hands as I got on breathing treatments and an IV, and was transported in an ambulance to a different hospital where I stayed for 8 days and had chemotherapy and many other drugs. My whole life was turned upside down. I couldn't go back to my apartment, and thanks to my family they packed my things and put it all in storage.

For about 2 years I lived with my Mom. She was my caretaker and I took both drugs and natural treatments, and as of the day I write this I am still receiving treatments. My Mom fed me, helped me sit up in bed, bathe and walk at my worst times. My Mom is my angel.

The great news is that I consider my diagnosis and conquering Hodgkin's Lymphoma to be a blessing and my awakening. I dove into personal development more so than before, asking questions like: What kind of a person was I being for this to happen, and what is a healthier way to be? I found out that when we love ourselves, our insides reflect that.

My motto is Love Yourself & Feel Beautiful, LYFB, and it's part of the title of my upcoming eBook. It’s also hash tagged on social media. Join us and comment, follow, as well as hash tag your own media that’s LYFB!

I found out that we're all connected and here to lift each other up, to give each other a hand up, and help each other. This ongoing, morphing life experience is teaching me that I am a force to be reckoned with who's got to lead by example and pay it forward. It's my mission. Helping others to love themselves too and become amazing leaders- I feel this is my purpose. Also to live lives fully expressed. I can identify with this too, because for years I had severely repressed myself. And I am still uncovering who I truly am!

What causes repression? Fear. What I found out is that fear is false. False Evidence Appearing Real. It's a mask. An illusion. I found out that we can be whoever we want to be and do whatever we want to do. And the sooner we figure out what this means to us, the sooner we can journey this path.

So I serve as a role model for strength, leadership, empathy, courage, self love, body love, valuing your voice and vision, and probably a few other categories as well. The experience forced me to open up and connect with people more, because almost everyone I converse asks me about it as if I've come back from a war. And I have.  I'm winning because I turned it into a peace treaty.

They're curious about the experience, inspired and enlightened, so I took that as my queue to grow quicker into the leader I already know I am deep at my soul's core. The experience liberates and humbles me, and of course as Marianne Williamson says: "As we are liberated from our own fears, we unconsciously give others permission to do the same."

KMM #2: Why Should I Dress My Best?

Hey hey! I’m Kacie May. We’re talking about why we should always dress our best. So why should we? Well there’s a couple of reasons.

Watch me speak on it.
First of all how we look and how we feel are connected.
We live in a visual society, so our physical appearance our grooming and our hygiene- this is our visual business card.
Also we’re judged on these things, people make an assessment about us, within the first handful of seconds of meeting us just on these things alone!
And when I say grooming and hygiene I’m talking about mean how we keep our hair, the health and appearance of our skin with the skincare we use, as well as our teeth, things like this.
In order to have integrity with who we are, we’ve got to align who we are on the inside with who we are on the outside. What we wear, our physical appearance, is not everything about us.
Our insides that’s the rest of who we are.
It’s what we have here (in our heads) and what we have in here (in our hearts).
Think about it:
When was the last time you dressed up?
Were you going out on a hot date?
Maybe you were going out with the girls.
Or maybe you were going to a big event.
I want you to think about how you felt during those few hours or during that day.
Probably hot and confident, right?
You were lovin yourself and FEELIN beautiful! (LYFB!)
Well guess what ladies, we’re supposed to feel this way every single day.
And if you’re not feeling this, it’s about time to start as of yesterday!
Some people ask me: Is it vain or superficial to take care of our physical self, to dress our best and to take care of our hygiene and our appearance of our skin and our hair?
No. I tell them no, of course not.
I actually had a stigma about this; I kind of felt that way before too but what I found out is that we’re really taking care of ourselves.
And when we take care of ourselves we feel great.
When we feel great we’re attracting great things and can also better take care of others so it’s a win-win all around.
So in conclusion ladies and gentleman, take care of your physical assets. Love yourself and feel beautiful, take advantage of those physical assets you have and yes I’m talking to you!
Dress for your body type, lifestyle, and personality and always Love Yourself and Feel Beautiful.

KMM #1: Be Unstoppable.

Hey hey, I’m Kacie May.
I’ve heard from some of my mentors to sharing our struggles as well as our triumphs.
So here’s some of my struggles.
Watch me talk about it instead if you like.

I’m sitting here in my bed which I’ve been at more than the majority of the day because
some synthetics a couple days ago that are temporarily attempting to take the life force from me.
And here I am making a video and sharing with everyone, and connecting on social media and talking to people over phone.
It’s not about what you can’t do,
Focus on what you CAN do.
Oh, and a note on how to treat people who might be struggling in any particular area of their life.
Don’t say “oh you poor thing” or feel sorry for them. It’s dis-empowering. It doesn’t do any good.
Instead empathize with them. Be in that moment, in that place.
Maybe offer some solutions,
or at least great energy.
Ask them what they’re learning.
In the time I’m feeling healthy enough-
which is becoming more often lately because of what I’m taking and how I’m treating myself,
I’m building relationships- new ones, existing ones, making them better.
I’m creating and sharing content on social media,
creating a new website,
and I’m helping to FREE people, working on something huge.
And all from my bed today.
So moral of the story is:
Focus on what you can do, not what you can’t do.
And be unstoppable.
I am unstoppable and you can be, too.

Life Mentors and Coaches i.e. Titanic’s Jack & Rose

Titanic.
Jack saves Rose.
“In every way that a person can be saved”
She said she felt like she was
“Screaming at the top of her lungs and no one even bothers to look up”
She was unhappy with her life
with her relationships
her mom and fiance
living a life with not much happiness or joy.
Then Jack came in and ignited her spirit.
Realize that there are people who can help you become better if you recognize who they are and let them. These are your life mentors and coaches.
Jack saw her, was intrigued, almost immediately he started caring about her,
and it became: “You jump I jump”.
He literally helped her save her own life, and he was committed to interacting with her.
He helped her live a lighter and freer life, having more fun, dancing, riding roller coasters and horses.
His influence helped her realize she can make her own choices
instead of feeling obligated to make choices based on what another person said or what another person thinks she should do or be.

Jack’s commitment to Rose’s development
I think this is a big reason why this movie is such a success.
We all want this.
People who care about us, who bring out a better person in us, whoever they are
male, female, a lover, friend, relative, coach, mentor.
It’s about assisting in a person’s development and self actualization.
And you don’t need anyone to show you or tell you you can or cannot do something
or be or become something or someone.
Because you already got it in the bag, if you believe you do.
Henry Ford said, "If you believe you can or can't, either way you're right."
So all you really need is yourself making decisions and choices on your own behalf,
choosing what you want and living how you want to live.
And these people caring about us, helping us develop...this is a beautiful thing, too.
Rose became this person.
I am becoming this person
partly thanks to people in my life influencing me for the better, directly and indirectly.
Pay attention to who makes you better
and who you’re becoming as a result of their influence.
If you need someone like this maybe I can be this person for you.
Or maybe I know a person or people or even a beautiful, loving community who would be perfect for you.
Make it a great, loving, wonderful, luscious, abundant, prosperous, successful life
that you create,
not one that you feel obligated to.
In the comments below, tell us 3 things:
Something you’d like to be better at,
Something you’re proud of yourself for,
and the name of the person or people who are helping/helped make that a reality for you.

How to Identify the Best R.O.I. and an Amazing Network Marketing Opportunity

Sometimes us network marketers are trained to think we have the best opportunity on the planet. And some of us looking into the industry want to, like intelligent people, get all of the facts about a company before committing and changing our lives for the much better. So the question is, what does “best” mean? If your definition of “best” is “I love it so much because I love the product/service and/or community so much”, then great. These factors are important. But what serious network marketers want to know - the ones who don’t just want to make 6 or 7 figures a year, the ones who want to make LEGACY money like a million a month - is which opportunity can I most likely accomplish this in? It’s not about the money. It’s about what you can DO with the money. What’s your dream or vision?

Is it something like this: paying off debt, paying off your or a loved one’s car, buying a new car, moving, more time with family and friends, giving back, paying it forward, retiring loved ones, retiring yourself, traveling, shopping, buying a house, investing in a hobby, donating more than most people make in a year…

Is what you want in this list or is it something more or different?

Anyway, the answer to the LEGACY money question lies in a handful of factors:

  • Amazing Products & Quick Results = “WOW” Factor
  • Proven Sales & Global Reach
  • Target Market
  • Aggressive Compensation
  • Timing/Ground Floor Opportunity/First Mover’s Advantage/Start Up

So first off, how fast can your product or service give people results? The faster a product or service works, the faster it networks. Can you give or beat immediate results? I’m talking seconds to minutes. Unexpected, Quick Results that make people of all ages, sexes, and backgrounds say, “Wow!” And if people are saying this, obviously you’ve got Amazing Products.
The next factor is called Proven Sales Track Record and Global Reach. Are people all around the world already buying what you can offer them? Can you now give that same product or service to them at a discount, the right way a network marketing company should work? (As opposed to marking up products so it’s distributors get a cut of that.) If so, how many people worldwide already know about and are buying your exact product or service, before you even say hi? Imagine people in over 40 countries already buying and loving your products and paying full retail for it right now as you read this. Imagine you already know them and/or you can meet them and offer them the same products at over half off plus other perks including being able to get them free, and they can also get paid if they want to...Imagine all the rewards of a “start up” with all the safety and support of a proven company...
Next, how big is your Target Market? Warren Buffett said that whatever you are passionate about, make your hobby. Whatever everyone else is passionate about, make your business. If you can find a massive need and fill it, you can become very wealthy. Think about it.
“Who do you know who wears makeup?”
“Who do you know who wants to lose weight?”
“Who do you know who drinks coffee?”
”Who do you know who has a blog?”
vs.
“Who do you know who has skin?” I’m pretty confident you know people who have skin.
And does everyone of all ethnicities, sexes, and ages want and use your product or service? Best if they do.
Now let’s consider: Can your product or service give people faster and better results than what they’re already buying, and can you get it to them for a cheaper price? Best if the answers to these are “yes” as well.
Next is Compensation. Do your research to find out what type of compensation plan is the most lucrative. Is yours an average payout (38% for every dollar of product/service moved), average (competitive 50%), or more than competitive with an Aggressive up to 65%? Introducing a new age plan, now in existence.
The last factor is Timing. The “T” in timing is more important than the “T” in Talent, and in business, timing is king. If you wanna join Avon, Arbonne, or Mary Kay, Avon because you love the products and community, go for it. But these companies have been around decades already so the odds of you making LEGACY money isn’t available for you here. (BTW, if you’re a Rep with one of these companies already, I’d love to get your feedback on our products ;))
If you wanna make LEGACY money, do your research before committing. The opportunity that has what we call First Mover’s Advantage is a crucial element, a MUST-HAVE, to make this LEGACY money for you and the people you care about. Another term that means the same thing is Ground Floor Opportunity or “start up”.
So let’s review. These are the factors we discussed: Amazing Products & Quick Results, Proven Sales & Global Reach,Target Market, Aggressive Compensation, and Timing/Ground Floor Opportunity/First Mover’s Advantage. If you have all of these, then you might be able to compete with us. For everyone else, welcome to Seacret.

V-Day Look: Mixing Masculine & Feminine Elements

Mixing masculine and feminine elements is a method of styling I like to dress with often.
In a similar way that opposites attract, wearing both masculine and feminine elements in your outfit makes it more interesting.

Examples of feminine elements are the color pink and a vintage style purse in this outfit.
Other examples are florals, pencil skirts, and dresses that emphasize the waist.

Examples of masculine elements are tailored blazers and vests, buckled boots and button up collared shirts.

While men can incorporate some feminine elements in their wardrobe like the color pink and floral prints, women can wear more silhouettes than men. We’ve got skirts, dresses, and more styles of tops to choose from in addition to all of the menswear silhouettes we can wear. We have the best of both worlds :)

Wear for day or a casual date:

Styling tips:
  • Start with an item you love that will be the main character of the outfit. I chose this pink scarf.
  • Next create the rest of your outfit. Since I want the scarf to stand out, I chose all neutrals for the rest.
  • Choose silhouettes that enhance your body shape, like a pencil skirt.
  • I chose a v-neck tee to keep the outfit casual. V-neck tees and shirts are the most universally flattering since this shape elongates the neckline, making you look longer and leaner. The v shape is also like an upside down arrow that draws attention to your neck and face.
  • Since the pink scarf and pencil skirt are my feminine elements, next I added the masculine ones: the blazer to make the outfit more sophisticated, and boots to make it casual.
  • Choose a blazer that nips in at your waist and buttons comfortably without stretching the fabric. Though the one in my outfit is an open style without a button, before I bought it I made sure it would button comfortably if it had one.
  • There are styling tricks for all body types for which shapes, colors, and proportions will best flatter you. If you have concerns or questions about this, consult your Stylist. If you’re looking for one, holler and maybe I can help.

What I wore:
Scarf: gifted
Blazer and pencil skirt: H&M
Boots: MIA

Happy V-Day styling, and as always, Love Yourself and Feel Beautiful! Thanks for reading, stay tuned, and in the comments tell us what you like to wear for Valentine’s.
